VB Light has been established in 2024 in Leuven, Belgium. VB stands for the Flemish province of Vlaams Brabant, whereas Light refers to the product portfolio.

VB Light is the official dealer of Nordride, the manufacturer of lights for professionals, in the Benelux countries and Hungary. Nordride is based in Lucerne canton, Switzerland. While Nordride produces a wide spectrum of lights, VB Light is focusing on the lamps that are designed for police, security services, paramedic services, maintenance, repair and overhaul market.

Gabor Szilagyi is the owner of VB Light. He and the owner of Nordride worked together for the most prestigious military technological company in Switzerland whose mission is to provide full technical availability for the Swiss Air Force and the Swiss Army.

Gabor Szilagyi holds Master degree in Radio Engineering from the University of Civil Aviation in Kiev (National Aviation University), Bachelor degree in Marketing Communication from the College for Foreign Trade (Budapest Business School) and MBA from the University of Wales.
